Your mind moves faster than the conversation. You connect two ideas from unrelated worlds and the connection turns out to be exactly right; you explain a complicated thing in a sentence that makes it obvious. Language is not a tool you use, it is the medium you live in, and people leave conversations with you having understood their own situation better.
People love you for lightness. You can make almost anything bearable by finding the angle on it, and you have carried whole rooms through difficult evenings this way.
The price is that you live at altitude and rarely land. Thinking is the most sophisticated avoidance available, and you are very good at it: the analysis of the feeling arrives so quickly that the feeling itself never has to be experienced. What you call processing is often circling. At three in the morning your mind is not solving anything, it is generating the sensation of solving so you do not have to sit in the thing you have been avoiding. You are not overthinking because you are anxious. You are thinking so that you do not have to feel.
